Ian Lim

Ian Lim has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ian is currently working as a Project Technical Lead at Airservices Australia since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Principal System Engineer at ST Engineering iDirect from September 2020 to March 2022. Ian also worked as a Satellite Services Subject Matter Expert at the Department of Education NT, Australia for a brief period from July 2019 to October 2019.

From December 2018 to June 2019, Ian was employed as a Lead Test Engineer at Speedcast. Before that, they held multiple roles at nbn™ Australia, including Lead Systems Engineer - Satellite Network from July 2017 to November 2018, Satellite Systems Engineer from October 2014 to July 2017, and Senior Business Analyst from July 2012 to October 2014.

Ian has also worked at Accenture as an Infrastructure Manager from January 2012 to June 2012, System Test Manager from August 2011 to December 2011, and Solutions Architect from May 2010 to August 2011. Prior to Accenture, they worked at Intel Software & Solutions Group as a Solutions Architect from November 2005 to July 2009, Intel Infrastructure Software Operation as a Project Manager from August 2004 to October 2005, and Intel Corporation as a Marketing Manager from May 2000 to August 2004.

Ian Lim has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, obtained in 1991. Ian also has a Diploma in Project Management from Swinburne University of Technology, obtained in 2009. In addition, they hold a Master of Business Administration in Total Quality Management from Newport University, obtained in 1999. Ian has obtained several additional certifications, including CompTIA Network+, Digital Body Language, Project Management Foundations, ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, Applied Data Science Specialization, IBM Data Science Specialization, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
