Serghei Iakovlev has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Serghei is currently the Director of Engineering at airSlate, where they are responsible for managing engineering teams and overseeing product performance. Prior to this role, they worked as the Engineering Manager at airSlate, conducting research on service design and developing load tests. Serghei also served as a Software Architect at airSlate, focusing on designing new features and improving product performance.

Before joining airSlate, Serghei was the Co-Owner of Zephir Language, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of the language, including performance optimization and bug fixing. Serghei also worked as a Board Member at Phalcon PHP Framework, where they contributed to performance optimization, security and stability fixes, and project maintenance.

Serghei has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at pdfFiller, where they supported the platform and created new features. Serghei also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Genesis Tech, implementing backend services and tools. Additionally, they served as a Software Engineer at NetGame Entertainment, developing and supporting gambling services.

Serghei began their career as a Full Stack Engineer, working on freelance projects for various clients. Serghei has also worked at Art. Lebedev Studio and Blog.ru as a Software Engineer, developing features for existing clients and contributing to the development of blogging services and social networks. At Gamma Group, Serghei supported corporate websites and developed new features.

Serghei Iakovlev completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied informatics in economics from RosNOU, from the year 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications including the Business Process Analyst Certification Program, Digital Security and Compliance, Introduction to Document Process Automation, Workflow Analytics with airSlate, airSlate Fundamentals Certification Program from airSlate, and Functional programming in Haskell from the Computer Science Center. The certifications from airSlate were obtained in October 2021, while the certification in Functional programming in Haskell was obtained in February 2019.
