Mariana Murga

Mariana Murga has diverse work experience in the field of product design and graphic design. Mariana started their career as a Graphic Design Intern at CEMACO in 2015. Mariana then worked as a Graphic Designer at 4am Saatchi & Saatchi in 2017. Mariana also worked as a Project Coordinator and Inhouse Graphic Designer at Del Palomar from 2018 to 2020, where they successfully rebranded the company and created engaging social media content.

In 2019, Mariana joined Special Bakers as a Product Designer and Creative Director. Mariana played a crucial role in defining the brand's visual identity and marketing strategy, resulting in a significant increase in the brand's following and engagement on social media.

In 2022, Mariana worked at Heali as a Product Designer, where they redesigned the user experience of the Heali application and created in-app illustrations that aligned with the brand's vision. Additionally, Mariana worked at eDesigns Company as a Product Designer and Project Manager, where they designed and implemented front-end web solutions for various clients and developed a standard program for client onboarding and support.

In 2022, Mariana joined Amount as a Product Designer, where they created a design system for Amount Small Business platforms and collaborated with engineering and product teams to establish an effective design critique process.

Currently, Mariana is working at Airspace Link, Inc. as a Product Designer.

Mariana Murga's education history begins with their high school diploma from the American School of Guatemala, which they obtained in 2010. Mariana then pursued level 1 studies in French Language at the Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III in 2010. In 2011, they completed creative advertising courses at the Universidad de Palermo.

From 2012 to 2017, Mariana attended the Universidad Rafael Landívar, where they earned a Licenciatura degree in Graphic Design. During this time, in 2014, they also took courses in Photography and Accessory Design at NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti.

In 2019, Mariana enrolled in the ESdesign Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona, where they pursued a Master's degree in UI and UX Design, with a focus on Web Design. Mariana completed this program in 2020.

Mariana Murga has also obtained additional certifications in the field of design. In 2022, they completed the "Human-Computer Interaction: The Foundations of UX Design" and "Design for the 21st Century" courses from The Interaction Design Foundation. Mariana also completed the "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" and "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" courses from Coursera in the same year.
