Firnas Farook

Firnas Farook has a solid background in software engineering and technical leadership roles. Firnas started their career at DirectFN as an Associate Engineer before progressing to a Software Engineer role. Firnas then joined Blockchain Technology Malaysia as a Software Engineer, focusing on cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain technologies. Firnas later worked at Avanade, where they served as a Consultant, Team Lead, and Senior Consultant/Associate Manager, leading projects in cloud-native solutions and authentication platforms for Singapore government agencies. Their most recent role was at Valtech as a Technical Practice Lead - Frontend, before moving on to Airswift as a Frontend Engineering Lead. Throughout their career, Firnas has demonstrated expertise in frontend development, technical leadership, and successful project implementations in various industries.

Firnas Farook completed their Bachelor's Degree in BEng Hons. in Software Engineering at London Metropolitan University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a BCS from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in Computer Software Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Firnas also pursued studies in Mobile Application Development for Android at SLIIT in 2014 and Java SE at the Advanced Technology Center in 2011 to 2012. Furthermore, they completed their Advanced Level in the Commerce Stream at Zahira College Colombo from 1998 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications related to Azure Development, RESTful APIs, Node.js, Express, and GraphQL.
