Née Makaka Carolyne Mabesa Newall

Carolyne Mabesa Newall, née Makaka, is an accomplished Wellbeing and Inclusion Manager at AirTanker since January 2022, where responsibilities include leading and overseeing the Wellbeing and Inclusion agenda at a C-Suite level. With extensive experience as an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Consultant since 2014, Carolyne has advised numerous organizations on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) issues. Prior roles include serving as an EDIB Advisor at Oxford City Council and as a Communication and Engagement Officer for NHS Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Carolyne's career is marked by a commitment to fostering inclusion and diversity across various sectors, including healthcare and local government, alongside contributions to organizations such as Oxfam and the British Red Cross. Carolyne holds a BA in International Relations with a Minor in Psychology from United States International University - Africa and has completed the Imperial Sustainability Leadership Programme from Imperial College Business School.
