Thomas Grohmann started their work experience in 2002 as a Forschungs- und Entwicklungsingenieur at Gardner Denver. Thomas went on to hold multiple roles including Gruppenleiter Grundlagenentwicklung and Leiter Produktneu- und Grundlagenentwicklung. In 2014, Grohmann joined Airtech Vacuum, Inc. as the Vice President of Engineering.
Thomas Grohmann completed their education at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they obtained a Doktor der Ingenieurwissenschaften (Dr.-Ing.) degree in the field of study of "Lokalisierung und Klassifizierung tonaler Schallquellen in Seitenkanalgebläsen" from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the Fachhochschule Merseburg from 1998 to 2003, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Maschinenbau.
