Arun Menon

Arun Menon has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Arun is currently working as the Head of Cyber Security at Airtel Africa since 2022. Prior to this, they held several roles at Network International, including Group Head of Cyber Defense from September 2022 to December 2022, Head of Cyber Security from October 2019 to September 2022, and Information Security Manager from March 2018 to September 2019. Before joining Network International, they worked as a Senior InfoSec SME at Emirates NBD from May 2013 to December 2017. Arun also served as a Senior Security Specialist at Quadrant Risk Management FZE from March 2010 to May 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Technical Manager at MAB Group from June 2007 to February 2010, where they handled network and systems design and support for various enterprises, including major clients such as Dubai Police and Air Arabia. Arun's work experience also includes a role as a Technical Support Manager at Zenith Computers Ltd from March 2005 to May 2007 and as a Senior Executive, Operations at Sutherland Global Services from November 2001 to March 2005.

Arun Menon holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in May 2022 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in March 2021.
