Gad Omondi

Gad Omondi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the payments and digital solutions sector across Africa. Currently serving as Head of Department for Enterprise and Merchant Payment at Airtel Africa since March 2021, Gad has successfully led initiatives that significantly expanded the company's merchant network and transaction volume. As Chairman of the Board at Africa Development Connect Limited, Gad has driven innovations in digital content solutions and established payment aggregation services across 22 countries. Previous roles include Country Director at Cellulant, where Gad achieved rapid market expansion in Mozambique, and Business Development Manager at Kopo Kopo Inc., where notable contributions were made in mobile money interoperability. Gad's foundational experience includes significant positions at Equity Bank Limited and Millbrook Resort.
