Kamlesh Bokhoree

Kamlesh Bokhoree has a diverse work experience in the field of data center operations. Their most recent role was as the Head of Data Centre Operations at Airtel Africa, starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Center Operations Manager at Amazon Web Services from January 2022 to September 2023. Before joining Amazon, Kamlesh was a Senior Data Center Manager at Axian Group from July 2021 to January 2022. Their previous experience also includes roles such as Manager and Assistant Manager of Data Center at Emtel from 2010 to 2021. kamlesh has demonstrated expertise in managing complex issues, implementing operational performance, and ensuring the availability of data centers. Kamlesh has also worked at Orange Business Services and KPMG Mauritius in various IT-related roles.

Kamlesh Bokhoree obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied ICT First Class Honours from Mauritius from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they also received a certification in Certified Data Centre Management from CNET Training. kamlesh holds a Diploma in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from City & Guilds of London Art School, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. Kamlesh Bokhoree pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University of Mauritius from 2017 to 2019. kamlesh has additional certifications such as ISO 22301 Lead Implementer and Certified Data Centre Management Professional, among others.
