Souley Yahaya

Souley Yahaya has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Souley began their career as a Researcher and Postgraduate at UCLV in 2000. Souley then joined Celtel-Niger as an IT Engineer and Database Administrator in 2002, and later became an IT Manager and IT and Billing Director. In 2007, Yahaya joined Zain Congo Brazza as an IT and Billing Director and later moved to Bharti Airtel Congo in the same role. In 2015, they joined Airtel Africa as the Head of IT Operations Cluster for Gabon, Madagascar, and Niger, and later became the Director of IT Operations Cluster for Niger and Chad. Currently, Yahaya is the CIO of Airtel Niger at Bharti Airtel Africa B.V.

Souley Yahaya has a diverse education history. In 2015, they received certificates in "Strategy in action" from Harvard Business School. Prior to that, in 2006, they attended London Business School for Leadership and Advanced Management. In 1999, they obtained a Ph.D. from UC-SPAIN in the field of "Computer based methods for Electrical Distribution System Automation." Souley also pursued a Master of Sciences degree in "Computer Sciences applied to Electrical Distribution System state estimation" from Universidad Central de Las Villas in 1997. Souley received an Engineer (Honors) degree in Electrical Engineering from Central University of Las Villas in 1991. Lastly, in 1987, they completed their Bac C, Mention T Bien from Lycée AKD, focusing on Mathematics and Physics.
