Sophia N. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2020. In 2015, they worked as a Computer Vision Researcher and Engineer Design Assistant at Circuit Plus Inc. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Ryerson University. In 2019, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at X-Matik Inc. In 2020, they worked as a Lead AI Application Engineer and AI Application Engineer at AIStorm INC, and as a Data Scientist at Fellowship.AI. At AIStorm INC, they worked on building AI applications. At Fellowship.AI, they worked with clients from various industries such as FinTech, Healthcare and Fashion to build end to end machine learning solutions from data collection, EDA to prototyping and deployment. At X-Matik Inc, they designed, trained, debugged, and evaluated models using TensorFlow, OpenCV and Keras libraries in Ubuntu Linux environment. At Ryerson University, they interpreted and analyzed quantitative and qualitative results of correlation of noise with over-fitting and computation time, and investigated the optimal parameters needed for Perceptron Neural Network and Deep Neural Network. At Circuit Plus Inc., they launched a startup company called LiteEmiDi, led the testing and troubleshooting of different PCBs, and expanded their working knowledge of micro-controller design, testing and programming through the use of the Microchip PIC 32-bit.

Sophia N. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering, Control and Robotics, Microsystems from Ryerson University between 2010 and 2015. Sophia then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer engineering from Ryerson University between 2016 and 2018. In addition, they have obtained a Certified Data Scientist from Fellowship.AI in August 2020, a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University in September 2016, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University in June 2015.
