Wendong Hu

Wendong Hu has worked in the technology industry since 2003. Wendong began their career as a Research Intern at STMicroelectronics until 2004. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Chair of IEEE 802.22 Working Group and a Member of IEEE 802 LMSC Executive Committee, where they chaired and organized the working group's meeting activities. In 2010, they were the Director at the ZigBee Alliance. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation as a Senior Member of Technical Staff Architect. Most recently, they were the Director of R&D at AIStorm Inc, where they were responsible for AI accelerator hardware architecture, AI applications (IoT vision, speech, automotive, etc.), compiler backends for Programmable mixed signals AI accelerator, and RISC-V based SOC architecture for AI accelerator.

Wendong Hu earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2000 and 2005.
