Pierre SENDOREK

Machine Learning Engineer at Aive

Pierre Sendorek has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Pierre began their career as an Intern at Siemens, where they evaluated and compared Voice Activity Detectors (VAD) and programmed evaluation scripts in Perl. In 2008, they completed an Internship at Total, where they computed the uncertainties associated with the estimation of sound's velocities in the underground using tomographic inversion and Gaussian-linear models. From 2009-2011, Pierre worked as a Research Engineer at Télécom ParisTech and Esisar Grenoble INP. At Télécom ParisTech, they worked on biometry and person recognition in adverse conditions in videos, and they worked on speech recognition in the FP7 Companion@ble project at Esisar Grenoble INP. From 2011-2017, Pierre worked as a Data Scientist at Xebia France, where they consulted, recruited, and trained on TensorFlow. In 2015, they held two roles as a Research Engineer at batvoice AI and Digimind. At batvoice AI, they designed a technical roadmap for a range of products focused on speech processing, and at Digimind, they worked on automatic clusterization of newspaper articles by similarity. Finally, in 2020, Pierre worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at AnotherBrain, where they worked on a Quality Control solution and integrated novel neural networks architectures into the product. In 2021, Pierre began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Aive.

Pierre Sendorek obtained a Master in Mathematics from the University of Marne la Vallée (Paris Est) between 2002 and 2006. Pierre then went on to obtain an Engineer degree in Signal Processing, Machine Learning, and Mathematics from Télécom Paris between 2006 and 2009. Finally, they obtained a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Signal Processing from Télécom Paris between 2011 and 2015.
