Hoang Minh Vo

Hoang Minh Vo has worked in the tech industry since 2016. In that time, they have held several roles with various companies. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Smarp, where they implemented a RESTful API using GoLang and was familiar with developing front-end production workflow with AngularJS, ECMAScript 2015, Mocha test, Gulp, and JSPM. Hoang Minh also held a Software Engineer Intern role at Bookndo, where they worked on back-end development using CakePHP and Linux system administration and PostgreSQL database. In 2019, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master at Finnair, and a Startup Buddy - Community Builder at SWITCH. In 2021, they became a Product Owner at AlphaSense, where they managed the product backlog for the Public API team, and a Product Manager - Database Engines and Observability solution at Aiven, where they were responsible for defining product roadmap, product strategy and vision, and ensuring Aiven offers world-class product and aligns with company strategy.

Hoang Minh Vo's education history includes a Master's degree in International Design Business Management from Aalto University, School of Science, obtained in 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Software Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Product-Led Growth Certificate Program from ProductLed in 2022, a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021, Building AI and Elements of AI from University of Helsinki in 2020, and a Codility Golden Award - Scandium 2016 from Codility in 2016.
