Jorge Uribe has worked in various roles since 1997. Jorge began their career as a Programmer Analyst/Support Engineer at The Kansas City Southern Railway Company (TFM). Jorge then worked as a DBA at InfoAccess.net -To2 - Jonima, Banamex (Afore Garante), Profuturo GNP, and Affiliated Computer Services Inc. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Support Engineer at Oracle, where they were responsible for Global Customer Support for Enterprise Manager, working directly on Service Requests, problem analysis and troubleshooting, and implementing test cases. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Customer Support Lead at Daintree Networks. Most recently, they have been a Customer Support Lead/DevOps at GE Current, a Daintree company, since 2019 and they are currently employed as a Support Engineer at Aiven since 2022.
Jorge Uribe received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems and Information Technologies from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México between 1993 and 1998. Jorge went on to obtain three certifications from Oracle: Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Master in October 2015, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional in May 2014, and Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Professional (version retired) in December 2006.
