Josefin Sandwall

Josefin Sandwall began their career in 2009 as a Summer Intern at Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB, SKB. In 2011, they became a Consultant at Academic Work. From 2014 to 2018, Sandwall worked at EY as a Senior Consultant in the People Advisory Services competency area. During this time, they worked on a Global Knowledge Management Transformation, developing a Knowledge Management methodology, and a Readiness Analysis and Selection of HCM System. In 2014, they also completed a Master Thesis at Svenska Kraftnät. In 2018, Sandwall joined Booking.com as a Global Change Lead, leading an operational change and transformation portfolio within Customer Service Operations, and owning and delivering change communication strategies and materials. Josefin was also the People Manager of a global team of 6 (senior) change specialists and oversaw a global network of 30+ specialists. In 2022, they joined Aiven as a Senior Change and Program Manager, part of the People Leadership team with the mandate to drive the People strategy and roadmap forward and align with overall company strategy. Josefin is also the Owner of the People PMO including governance, processes, change and portfolio management, and the Interim Head of People Development managing the L&D team and building out learning journeys for employees & managers.

Josefin Sandwall has an extensive education history. From 2021 to 2022, they are attending Quantic School of Business and Technology to pursue an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations. From 2008 to 2014, they earned an MSc in Sociotechnical Systems Engineering (System i Teknik och Samhälle) from Uppsala University. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration from Uppsala University from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they attended University of Groningen for International Business. Finally, from 2019 to 2020, they completed a WSET Level 3 in Wines & Spirits from Wine & Spirit Education Trust, earning the title of Wine Steward/Sommelier.
