Rob Garth

Rob Garth began their career in 1999 as a Systems Administrator at the University of Western Sydney. In 2003, they became an Internal Unix Specialist at Unisys. In 2005, they moved back to the University of Western Sydney as a Systems Specialist. In 2009, they became a Senior Linux Administrator at NICTA. In 2013, they were an Operations Engineer at Nest Labs. In 2014, they were a Senior SRE-SysEng at Google. In 2015, they became a Systems Operations Engineer at The Linux Foundation. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer at Square. In 2019, they were a Site Reliability Engineer and then Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Ping Identity. Finally, in 2021, they became a Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Aiven.

Rob Garth received a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Western Sydney University between 1995 and 2000. In 2021, they obtained an ITIL Foundation Level certification from Simplilearn. In 2018, they obtained an Exam Developer: Linux Foundation Certified System Engineer certification from The Linux Foundation.
