Thomson Nguy

Thomson Nguy has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. In 1996, they began their career in the US Army as a Captain, serving in the Infantry and holding various positions from Rifle Platoon Leader to Brigade S-1. In 2004, they joined Oracle (Siebel Systems, Inc.) as a Senior Alliance Manager, driving business development through strategic alliances. In 2006, they moved to LexisNexis Advanced Government Solutions as the Director of Strategy and Marketing for Intelligence Analysis Solutions. In 2008, they joined Salesforce.com as the Director of Alliances. In 2010, they joined Amazon.com (Amazon Web Services) as a Federal Sales Manager, building and executing the initial ramp up strategy as the first employee on the public sector team. From 2013 to 2019, they were with Amazon Web Services (AWS), working as an ISV Sales Leader, Regional Sales Leader, and Senior Account Executive. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Aiven as the Vice President of Sales for the Americas, leading sales strategy and execution.

Thomson Nguy obtained their MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School between 2002 and 2004, majoring in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Thomson went on to receive their A.B. cum Laude from Harvard University in 1996, majoring in Government. Additionally, they obtained their AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level certification from Amazon Web Services in 2014 and their AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019.
