Hans Heikenfeld

Hans Heikenfeld is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at AIXTRON SE since February 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at maexpartners GmbH from 2017 to 2022, including Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Consultant. Hans also worked as a Research Assistant at FIR - Research Institute for Operations Management from March 2016 to May 2017. Before that, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at FIR at RWTH Aachen, University from May 2015 to February 2016. Hans gained internship experience at Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services GmbH in 2013 and at Medtronic in 2012. Hans served as the Director at Heikom from December 2009 to November 2011 and interned at Medtronic GmbH from September 2009 to November 2010.

Hans Heikenfeld has a diverse education history. Hans began their academic journey at St. Bernhard Gymnasium, where they obtained their Abitur/A-Level in 2009. Hans then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2009 to 2013.

Continuing their studies at the same university, Hans completed their Master of Science degrees in both Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and Management, Business and Economics from 2013 to 2016. During this period, they also had a brief exchange program at Iowa State University in 2014, where they focused on Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Hans has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they achieved the Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from TÜV SüD. Hans further enhanced their skills by attaining the Six Sigma Green Belt from Six Sigma College Düsseldorf (SSCD) in October 2019. Additionally, Hans obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2019, followed by the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification in May 2019.

Overall, Hans Heikenfeld has a strong educational background in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, supplemented with a Master's degree in Management, Business and Economics. Hans has also successfully obtained certifications related to process improvement and project management.
