Taimoor Khan

Taimoor Khan is a Technical Application Manager specializing in Silicon Carbide (SiC) applications at AIXTRON SE since October 2020, providing guidance on SiC processes and developing project plans with key stakeholders. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Engineer, executing MOCVD equipment installations and troubleshooting, as well as performing epitaxy growth processes for various semiconductor structures. Taimoor also completed a Master Thesis at the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, focusing on high-temperature annealing effects on AlGaN properties, and worked as a Master Project Student at Technische Universität Chemnitz, researching the effects of ramp rate on epitaxial growth of monolayer graphene. Taimoor holds a Master of Science in Advanced Functional Materials from Technische Universität Chemnitz and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.
