María Gil Aragonés

María Gil Aragonés is a Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Aizon since March 2023. Prior to this role, María held positions at Sadako Technologies from September 2019 to March 2023, where responsibilities included utilizing computer vision and deep learning techniques for the detection and recognition of recyclable objects. At Serimag, between April 2018 and September 2019, María developed intelligent document classifiers for bank procedure automation. Additionally, María served as an IT Project Manager for the Mobile World Congress 2018 at Fira Barcelona, overseeing GSMA IT projects and coordinating technical teams. María holds a Master of Science in Computer Vision from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and an Engineer's degree in Audiovisual Systems, Telecommunications Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN, alongside an exchange program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
