Iwan Kurniawan

Iwan Kurniawan is an experienced advisor and investor actively involved in several companies, including Ajaib as an Advisor since June 2024, and multiple investments in firms such as Lumina, KinderCastle Indonesia, Supermomos, and Sealed Network. Kurniawan previously served as a Co-Founder, COO, and Group Chief Growth Officer at Modalku, where significant contributions were made to establish a leading SME financing business in Indonesia. Between 2019 and 2023, Kurniawan held leadership roles in the Asosiasi FinTech Indonesia as Vice Chairman and Board Member. Kurniawan has also gained valuable experience as a Fellow at Owl Ventures, supporting Edtech-focused initiatives, and currently serves as a Board Member for SimpliDOTS. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Harvard University and coursework in Artificial Intelligence at MIT, along with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
