Priya Samant

Priya Samant has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. PRIYA most recently worked as an Associate Vice President at Ajanta Pharma Ltd since February 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of AVP at Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd from December 2020 to February 2021. PRIYA also served as the General Manager of the Intellectual Property Cell at Sun Pharma from August 2005 to November 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Lecturer in Pharm. Chem. at Saraswati Vidya Bhavan's College of Pharmacy from September 2001 to August 2005.

Priya Samant's education history includes a Master of Pharmacy degree in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry from Bombay College of Pharmacy, completed in 2000. PRIYA also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Jitendra Chauhan College Of Law, obtained from 2012 to 2015. In 2003, they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law from National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University Hyderabad, with a focus on Patents. Priya Samant also has a second Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mumbai, completed from 1999 to 2001. PRIYA'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from KMKundnani College of Pharmacy, completed from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they completed their secondary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya, earning an SSC degree.
