Bjorn Belpaeme

Bjorn Belpaeme is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain and project management, currently serving as Director of Supply Chain and Project Management at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services since July 2018. In this role, Bjorn is responsible for ensuring QOTIF delivery of services in small molecule API manufacturing and oversees supply chain operations, including demand and supply planning, inventory management, and customer service. Previously, Bjorn held the position of Global Head of Project Management at Ajinomoto, where similar accountabilities were maintained across multiple manufacturing sites. Before joining Ajinomoto, Bjorn was Operational Excellence Manager at Ajinomoto OmniChem, focusing on business improvement initiatives, and held various positions at Barco and Pfizer, where responsibilities included product and process management. Bjorn holds a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science and a Master's degree in Bio Engineer Chemistry from Ghent University.
