Zhala Tawfiq

Zhalla Tawfiq is a Technical Sales Manager at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services since April 2018, with a focus on the development and optimization of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Previously served as a Manager in the Emerging Business and Technology division within the Innovation Strategy Department at Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc. and held several positions at Agensys, Inc., where responsibilities included process development, scale-up, and tech transfer for ADCs. Zhala began their career as a Process Development Associate at Ajinomoto Althea, Inc. and completed internships at the La Jolla Institute and the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Zhala holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering: Biotechnology from UC San Diego.
