Maria Dolors Rius

Maria Dolors Rius is a co-founder and president of ACtuar! Altas Capacidades, an association focused on supporting individuals with high intellectual abilities since October 2017. Rius has been a collaborator at IL3 - Universitat de Barcelona since October 2006, participating in educational workshops centered on diverse learning needs. In addition to administrative duties at the Ajuntament de Sant Cugat del Vallès since March 1999, Rius served as a docente at Universitat de Barcelona in 2021 for a postgraduate program related to high intellectual capacities. Rius's leadership experience includes presidency at the Federación Española Union AACC Altas Capacidades and co-founding roles at the associations APERTURAS and FANJAC. Rius was also a member of the GTAC, playing a significant role in advocating for high intellectual abilities at the Catalan Parliament. Rius holds multiple degrees from Universitat de Barcelona and C.E. DOLMEN in the fields of nursing and health sciences.
