Johan Marais-Piper is currently the Creative Director at Tension Studio, where Johan specializes in partnering with early-stage, high-growth startups to elevate their brand, product, and web presence. With a background in UI/UX design, illustration, branding, and creative direction, Johan has also held positions as Lead Designer at Ajust and Senior Product Designer at Airtasker. Prior to this, Johan has worked as a Senior Designer at Catalog, Visual Designer at Southern Cross Austereo, and Lead Designer and Creative Director at Solutions Outsourced. Johan's freelance experience includes work as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer at Jomapi. Johan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNSW and has completed a Part-Time UX Course at General Assembly.
