Shahar Rosentraub

Shahar Rosentraub has extensive work experience in engineering and research and development roles. Shahar is currently the VP of Engineering at AKA FOODS since 2023. From 2019 to 2023, they worked at Embryonics as the VP RnD, where they built teams and methodologies and led research, product development, and regulatory activities. Shahar also worked at Cisco from 2016 to 2019 as the SW and ML manager, leading the development of ML products for network optimization. Before that, they were a System Team Lead at Intel Corporation from 2012 to 2016, where they led the 3D camera system characterization for Intel's Realsense camera. From 2007 to 2012, Shahar worked at Applied Materials as the System Group Manager, overseeing optics, system, and software validation. Throughout their career, Shahar has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in various engineering fields.

Shahar Rosentraub completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Bio Chemical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, graduating in 2004. In 2018, Shahar pursued further education at The Open University of Israel, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science, completing it in 2019. In addition to their formal education, Shahar also obtained a certification in Statistical learning from Stanford University, completing it in January 2018.
