Romina Warusa

Romina Warusa has a diverse range of work experience spanning different roles and industries. Romina started their career as a Computing Instructor at ComputerXplorers, where they planned and taught lessons to a large number of students. Romina then worked as a General Worker at Premier Work Support, taking on various roles at Heathrow airport for different companies. During this time, they served as a guide, sales assistant, and bartender.

Romina later joined Kingston University, where they held two positions simultaneously. As a Project Manager and UX Worker, they managed healthcare-related projects and assisted different teams of researchers, designers, and developers. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant, helping to teach a module called "Professional Environments" to computer science students.

Romina also gained valuable experience at UCL as the Event Director of the Sri Lankan Society. In this role, Romina further developed their leadership and event planning skills, successfully organizing online events during the pandemic.

Prior to their university experience, Romina was actively involved in the Kingston University Sri Lankan Society. Romina first served as the Secretary, working closely with the president to ensure efficient event planning and execution. Romina then became the President, organizing large-scale events in collaboration with other London universities and making contributions to charities.

In their most recent position at AKA, Romina works as a Digital Project Manager. The details of their responsibilities and accomplishments in this role are not provided.

Romina Warusa pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Romina first attended Kingston University from 2017 to 2020, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
