Jakob Strømann-Andersen

Jakob Strømann-Andersen is a seasoned professional in the fields of innovation and sustainability, currently serving as Director of Innovation and Sustainability and Partner at Henning Larsen since September 2008. With a comprehensive background, Jakob holds multiple positions, including Member of the Ramboll Foundation Board since April 2022 and Elected Member of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences since January 2023. In addition, Jakob contributes to the committee for Industrial PhD Denmark with Innovation Fund Denmark and is a member of the UIA World Congress of Architects CPH 2023 Practice Committee. Roles also include PhD supervisor and Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark, alongside past leadership positions such as Deputy Chairman in the Sustainability Committee at Danske Arkitektvirksomheder and Jury Member for Nykredit's Architectural Award. Jakob holds a Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering and a Ph.D. in Integrated Energy Design in Master Planning from the Technical University of Denmark, along with further academic credentials from esteemed institutions.
