Genmab
Madelon Paauwe, PhD, is a highly experienced scientist in oncology and cancer biology, currently serving as the chair of the Works Council at Genmab since June 2020. Paauwe has held roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist in Preclinical In vivo Pharmacology, responsible for the design and analysis of preclinical studies. Prior to Genmab, Paauwe worked as a Scientific Researcher at Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute, focusing on cancer microenvironment studies, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Leiden University Medical Center, investigating blood coagulation factors in breast cancer. Paauwe's educational background includes a PhD and Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, along with a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Leiden University.
