Andrei Ponomarenko

Andrei Ponomarenko is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in developing large-scale distributed systems and mobile applications. Currently serving as a Senior II Software Engineer/Lead at Akamai Technologies since April 2017, Andrei focuses on web performance monitoring for real users. Prior experience includes leading software development at SOASTA, Inc. for the mPulse platform, and directing Android app development at OT Mobility, Inc. Additionally, Andrei has held leadership and engineering roles at Earth Networks, Seven Networks, MSX Inc., Meru Networks, Jasmine Networks, Cyras, and Oasys, showcasing extensive expertise in network management systems, mobile services, and telecommunications applications. Andrei holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Belarusian State University, earned between 1984 and 2001.
