Heath Spurlock

Heath Spurlock is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering, architecture, and systems administration. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Akamai Technologies since November 2022, Spurlock has also held positions such as Head of Architecture and Infrastructure and Principal Security Engineer at Resilience, along with a Software Engineer role at Akamai Technologies from March 2020 to June 2021. With a long tenure at AWIS Inc. as a System Administrator since 1992, Spurlock has further demonstrated expertise as a Technical Director and Systems Architect at Isobar from April 2004 to March 2020. Prior experience includes a System Administrator position at Georgia Technology Authority from 2000 to 2004. Heath Spurlock earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Auburn University between 1990 and 1995.
