Omar Aljaloud

Omar Aljaloud is a Security Engineer II at Akamai Technologies since December 2022, following a role as a Security Engineer at Linode, where a custom Static Application Security Testing (SAST) solution was integrated into the CI/CD pipeline. Prior experience includes serving as a Security Researcher at EATON Cybersecurity SAFE Lab, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to enhance security for clients. Additionally, Omar held multiple positions at Rochester Institute of Technology, including Teaching Assistant for courses on reverse engineering, cyber defense techniques, and networking, while also managing virtual systems. Omar earned a Master of Science in Computing Security and a Bachelor of Science in Computing Security from Rochester Institute of Technology.
