Will Law

Will Law is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in media streaming and engineering. Currently serving as Chief Architect for the Edge Technology Group at Akamai Technologies since 2007, Will focuses on strategic initiatives including low latency streaming and connected devices. Previous roles include Distinguished Engineer at Akamai, where expertise in Flash client-side technologies was developed, and President & Chairman of the Board for the DASH Industry Forum, advocating for the MPEG-DASH streaming standard. Will's entrepreneurial ventures include founding and serving as CTO for companies like Digitally Speaking and HostCast, along with engineering leadership at Iconomed and Obvious Technology. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
