Raghav Kao

Raghav Kao has a diverse work experience in the financial and trading industry. Raghav is currently the Founder & CEO of Akari Trading, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to that, Raghav worked as the Head Trader for DV Energy at DV Trading LLC from October 2017 to June 2021. Raghav also worked as a Fuel Oil Trader at Glencore from August 2016 to September 2017, and as an Oil Trader at Mandara from August 2013 to June 2016. Raghav started their career as an Associate Intern in the Global Market Strategies Group at BlackRock in October 2012. Raghav then worked as a Commodity Derivatives Trader at Edelweiss Capital from April 2011 to February 2012. Raghav gained early experience as a Summer Analyst at RBS Global Banking & Markets in June 2009 and as a Summer Analyst at HSBC in July 2008.

Raghav Kao completed their International Baccalaureate at Jakarta International School from 2003 to 2007. Raghav then pursued a BEng in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Imperial College London from 2007 to 2010. Later, they earned a Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2012 to 2013.
