Mahendra Soni

Mahendra Soni has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Mahendra currently holds the position of Vice President Finance at Akasa Air, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at NRB Bearings Limited from March 2020 to December 2021. From June 2019 to March 2020, they served as the Finance Controller at Jalesh Cruises. Earlier in their career, Mahendra held various roles at Jet Airways, including Deputy General Manager of Finance, Senior Finance Manager, Manager Finance, and Assistant Manager Finance. Mahendra started at Jet Airways in November 2012 and left in June 2019. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Manager at PWC from March 2010 to November 2012, where they conducted statutory audits for various listed companies. Mahendra's career began at Bharat R modi & co, where they worked as a B R MOdi from October 2006 to February 2010.

Mahendra Soni's education history includes completing the Chartered Accountant program at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2009. In 2010, they pursued further studies in Accounting and Finance by obtaining a certification in IFRS from ACCA UK. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from NK College between 2000 and 2005. Their secondary education was completed at N L High School, where they received their SSC degree between 1995 and 2000.
