Daniel Francis

Daniel Francis has been in the tech industry for over 20 years. Daniel began their career in 1997 as a Post Doctoral Research Associate and Visiting Post-Doctoral researcher at U.C. Berkeley. In 1998, they moved to Genoa Corporation as a Design Engineer. Daniel then joined Finisar as a Project Manager in 2003, followed by Group4 Labs as CTO in 2004, Element 6 as HCSPE in 2013, and Akash Systems as VP Material in 2018.

Daniel Francis began their educational career in 1991 when they enrolled at Stanford University to pursue a Ph.D. in Applied Physics. Daniel completed their degree in 1996 and then went on to the University of California, Berkeley for a Post Doc in EECS from 1997 to 1998.
