Dominique Noome

Dominique Noome is an experienced professional in the field of conservation and environmental security with significant leadership roles, currently serving as Director of Operations Africa for both Akashinga and LEAD Ranger. Since February 2016, Dominique has been an Officer/Senior Project Manager at the Ministerie van Defensie, focusing on Environmental Security and Peacebuilding, and is a co-founder of the Climate and Environment working group. Dominique is also a member of the Global Military Advisory Council on Climate Change, contributing to discussions on the security implications of climate change. Previous experience includes roles as Program Manager for LEAD Ranger and various positions within the IUCN Commission on Ecosystem Management. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Animal Health Management from Wageningen University & Research and a Master of Science in European Animal Management from Ecole de PURPAN.
