Burak Orhun

Mr. Burak Orhun completed his undergraduate education in Economics at Boğaziçi University; He received his master's degrees in Finance (MsF) from George Washington University and Business Administration (MBA) from University of Pennsylvania-Wharton Business School in the USA. He started his career as a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist at Mercedes Benz Türk A.Ş. Burak Orhun held various managerial positions at Thomson Corporation (Reuters), CapitalOne Financial and CadenceQuest, Inc. in the USA, including Finance Manager, Portfolio Management Director, Corporate Development Director and Assistant General Manager of Financial Affairs. Mr. Between 2009 and 2018, Burak Orhun served as the General Manager of Oyak Enterprise Consultancy, responsible for all company purchase & sale (M&A) projects of Oyak Group. Simultaneously, he served as senior manager, executive director and chairman of the board of directors in domestic and international chemical and energy companies of the Oyak Group. Joining the Sabancı Group in 2018, Mr. Burak Orhun is currently the Head of Strategy and Business Development Department at Sabancı Holding. Mr. Burak Orhun has been appointed as Sabancı Holding Construction Materials Group President as of 12 May 2021.
