Hakan Gürdal

Hayrullah Hakan Gürdal, born in 1968, graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1989, and completed his master's degree in International Business Administration at Istanbul University in 1990. Gürdal, who started working at Çanakkale Çimento in 1992, was appointed as Strategy and Business Development Manager at Akçansa in 1996, and as Assistant General Manager for Trade in 1997. He has been working as the General Manager of Akçansa since 1 August 2008. As of September 1, 2014, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. On February 1, 2016, he was appointed as the Member of the Executive Committee responsible for Africa and the Mediterranean Region at HeidelbergCement Group.
