Iryna Lilina

Iryna Lilina has a strong background in regulatory affairs, advertising, promotion, and labeling. Iryna currently serves as an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Akebia Therapeutics since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at TherapeuticsMD from February 2018 to November 2020 as a Senior Manager in Regulatory Affairs. At TherapeuticsMD, Iryna provided regulatory input for review and approval of advertising and promotional campaigns, managed labeling activities for multiple products, and served as an internal expert on regulations. Before that, they worked at Lupin Pharmaceuticals as part of the Regulatory Affairs Ad/Promo team from November 2015 to February 2018. In this role, they developed a systematic approach for review and approval of promotional materials, implemented an electronic document management system, and authored guidelines to improve consistency and quality of work.

Iryna Lilina earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Biology (Pre-Med) from Stockton University, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Iryna then pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University from 2014 to 2018, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Regulatory Science.
