Daniel MacDonald Ceng Imeche

Daniel Macdonald CEng IMechE is a seasoned Senior Drilling Engineer with extensive experience in the design, planning, and execution of drilling operations across various offshore environments. Currently employed at Aker BP ASA, responsibilities include managing extreme reach horizontal infill wells. Previous roles encompass senior positions at Chariot Limited, Pecan Energies, MOL Norge AS, Aker Energy AS, and Tullow Oil, where Daniel has successfully led drilling projects in diverse locations, including the Norwegian North Sea and ultra-deep waters off Ghana, Namibia, and Guyana. An entrepreneur with a background in tech startups, Daniel also has in-depth experience in well engineering and new technology implementation, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Offshore Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
