Giles Mitchell

Giles Mitchell is an experienced engineering professional specializing in offshore installation and subsea projects. Currently serving as Offshore Installation Engineering Lead for the Yggdrasil Project and System and Technical Integration Lead for the Tyrving Project at Aker BP ASA since September 2021, Mitchell has previously held roles such as Proposal Manager at Havfram and SURF Installation Engineer at Neptune Energy. A substantial tenure at Subsea 7 included positions like Early Engagement Manager, Tendering Manager, Construction Manager, and Senior Project Engineer. Initial roles as a Field Engineer at NorCE OFFSHORE and Cal Dive International, along with experience as a Project Engineer at Clough, contributed to a comprehensive background in the field. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Marine and Offshore Systems from the Australian Maritime College.
