Matthias Amble

Matthias Amble is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and digitalization within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Projects - Assurance, Performance & Improvement at Aker BP ASA since February 2018, Matthias has held various roles including Manager of the Digitalization Program Office and Digitalization Professional. Prior experience includes being a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group from October 2014 to February 2018 and serving as a Wireline Field Engineer at SLB from March 2010 to July 2013, where responsibilities included supervising wireline operations in both onshore and offshore settings. Matthias began a career in academia as a Teaching Assistant at ETH Zurich in 2007. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD, an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich, along with military training from the Royal Norwegian Officer Candidate School.
