Sveinung Rasmussen

Sveinung Rasmussen is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in subsea and project engineering. Currently serving as the site lead for subcontracts and senior project engineer for the Valhall PWP project at Aker BP ASA since December 2016, Sveinung has held various leadership roles, including system integration manager for the Skarv Satellites Project and system integration lead for the Ærfugl Project. Prior to Aker BP, Sveinung worked at BP from February 2012 to November 2016 as a subsea operations engineer, and began a career in engineering as a subsea engineer graduate after completing an internship at Subsea 7. An academic background includes a Master’s degree in Subsea & Marine Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction and Materials, both from the University of Stavanger.
