Trond Eggen Sivertsen

Trond Eggen Sivertsen is an experienced professional in the drilling and wells sector, currently serving as VP Drilling & Wells - Excellence at Aker BP ASA since October 2016. Prior leadership roles at Aker BP include VP D&W Alvheim, Drilling Superintendent, and several positions as Drilling Supervisor, notably on the semi-submersible Deepsea Stavanger and jack-up Maersk Interceptor. Trond has spearheaded significant projects, including Aker BP's first well drilled with Deepsea Stavanger and the inaugural oil producer on the Ivar Aasen field development while working previously at Det norske oljeselskap ASA. Trond began a career in drilling engineering at Det norske oljeselskap ASA with a focus on planning and operational execution in various offshore contexts. Trond holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), complemented by coursework at Texas A&M University.
