Aker Energy
Prior to joining Aker BP, he served as head of research for Statoil. Mr. Hersvik has held a number of specialist and executive positions at Norsk Hydro and StatoilHydro. He holds a number of directorships whose objective is to promote cooperation between industry and academia.
Mr. Hersvik holds a Cand. Scient. (second cycle) degree in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Bergen. Mr. Hersvik is a Norwegian citizen.

Aker Energy
Aker Energy AS was founded in February 2018 and is established as the newest member of the Aker Group. The E&P company aims to become the offshore oil and gas operator of choice in Ghana. It is characterized by the entrepreneurial and flexible organization that is synonymous with member companies of the Aker Group. Aker Energy is now operational with offices in Oslo and Accra, the capital of Ghana.
