Marius Gjære

Marius Gjære has extensive work experience in project resources and management in the energy industry. Marius started their career at Reinertsen as a Piping & Layout Engineer from April 2003 to September 2005. Marius then worked at BTU as a Project Engineer from September 2005 to February 2006. After that, Marius joined Aker Solutions as a Discipline Lead Piping & Layout and worked in various roles from February 2006 to November 2020, including Engineering Manager and Department Manager. In their recent roles at Aker Solutions, Marius served as Vice President Project Resources and Location Manager in Stavanger, followed by Senior Vice President positions overseeing project resources in different segments. Marius focused on organizational development, talent management, and transitioning to sustainable energy solutions.

Marius Gjære obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) from 1999 to 2002. Marius then pursued an Add on Business & Administration to BSc degree from the same university from 2002 to 2003. In addition to their education, they also obtained certifications in Basic Offshore Training and Helicopter Evacuation from Falck Nutec.
