Paula Smith MCIPD has over 18 years of HR management experience within the Oil & Gas industry, currently serving as the Regional Head of People & Organisation at Aker Solutions since May 2021. Prior roles include Senior HR Business Partner at Spirit Energy and Learning Development & Organisational Change Manager at the Oil and Gas Authority. Additional experience includes consulting as an HR/L&D Consultant at Leading HR Ltd and managerial positions at BG Group, Transocean, Ensco, and Baker Hughes INTEQ. Paula is skilled in identifying opportunities for organizational development, implementing change programs, and has a strong background in learning and development. Education includes a CIPD qualification in Human Resources earned from Aberdeen between 2001 and 2006.
